Our Story

Since 1980 — The Craft Beer Revolution

In 1980, Ken Grossman dared to dream of a better beer. From a small brewery in Chico, California, he created Pale Ale — the beer that sparked America's craft beer revolution. Since then, Sierra Nevada has stayed true to the principles that guided it from day one: the purest ingredients, uncompromising quality, and a commitment to community and the environment.

“When you pour your heart into your work, it shows up in every pint”

Ken Grossman, founder of Sierra Nevada

FAQ

What is craft beer?

Sierra Nevada beers are made from natural ingredients only — water, barley malt, hops and yeast. For kosher certification details, contact our official distributor in Israel.
